This place suits me perfectly! I love the indoor swimming pool, 24-hour reception, and free parking. During my first stay, the staff kindly offered me bug spray, which I appreciated. I recommend enjoying the jacuzzi during your visit.

great lakeside experience with room for enhancement
The room in the Lakefront Building provided stunning views and direct access to the grassy area by the lake. The peaceful ambiance created the perfect environment for relaxation throughout our stay.
However, the check-in process could be streamlined for better efficiency.

A Family-Friendly Gem in Lake Placid!
Our two-night stay was delightful! The staff was incredibly welcoming, and the breakfast options catered to our child’s taste. The warm atmosphere at the lounge made it perfect for relaxing after our outdoor adventures. Pro tip, don’t miss the stunning sunset views from the balcony!

Family with children will appreciate this stay
The waterfront collection at this place is amazing! I walked out my back door right onto the beautiful lake… and the complimentary equipment for water sports was a nice surprise too, I used the kayak and it was in perfect shape. The staff was very friendly, helped me jump start my car a couple of times and extended my checkout without a fuss!
It wasn't exactly cheap… but still acceptable for the experience.

missingWrote a review on Jul 10mountain viewsprivate lakeoutdoor loungingpool cleanliness
The room featured beautiful views of the surrounding mountains, making early morning coffee an absolute treat. Easy access to the private lake provided ample opportunities for relaxing swims and waterside lounging, which was a highlight of the stay.
The indoor pool area lacked attention, with some sand lingering in the hot tub, making it hard to feel confident about cleanliness. Additionally, the seating by the lake had broken chairs that needed replacing, which detracted from enjoying that lovely outdoor space. The halting service at the bar and restaurant limited meal options, particularly during off-hours, which was frustrating.

Lake Placid is a culinary wonderland! The nearby Black Bear Restaurant serves up some amazing local eats, while the Great Adirondack Brewing Company is perfect for a casual pint after a day on the slopes. The complimentary cookies and lemonade at the resort were a sweet touch that really made our time feel special.
We had high hopes for boating fun but were left hanging when they decided not to open the docks until noon, and by then, the rain rolled in. Plus, when we went to grab kayaks the next morning, there was no staff around to unlock them until we made a call—seriously missed out on that lake vibe.

I loved the nearby restaurants serving local cuisine. they were fantastic. The accessibility features were a plus for everyone in our group.
The check-in process was chaotic and took longer than it should have. Additionally, there were ants in the bathroom, which was unpleasant.

Great location and friendly atmosphere
Our stay was fantastic, with a beautiful view from our room and enjoyable amenities like the multiple pools. The complimentary cookies and hot chocolate upon returning from outdoor activities added a cozy touch to our experience. The only disappointment was that the hot tub was not operational during our stay, which we were looking forward to, especially in winter.

The location is unbeatable, offering easy access to Lake Placid's top winter attractions like the Mirror Lake Skating Loop. The room was spacious and comfortable, ideal for our family. We also enjoyed the multiple outdoor activities the area has to offer.
In my wife's opinion, a small improvement would be offering a complimentary breakfast option for families.

Had an awesome time with friends! We loved the easy access to the Mirror Lake skating loop and the nearby hiking trails with stunning waterfalls. The bar had great vibes and the outdoor pool was a hit, especially in the summer sun. Rooms were spacious and comfy, making it the perfect base for our adventures!
The front desk was a bit chaotic during check-in, which took longer than expected. But once we settled in, everything else went smoothly.
